Java Chat Software

 

If you are experiencing difficulties is using the Chat, follow the directions below.


You must have the most current version of JAVA. Download it HERE


WINDOWS VISTA USERS may need to add the following "fix" to get the chat room to work:

Click the Start (Window Logo) icon
Select "All Programs"
Select "Accessories"
Right-Click on "Command Prompt"
Click "Run as Administrator"
A dialog box will ask you to confirm.
Click the "Continue" button to proceed.
Type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
Press "Enter"
The message "ok" should appear.

 

When copying between applications, you will need to use the
CTRL-C and CTRL-V keyboard shortcut commands to copy and paste text.
The right-click Copy and Paste options will not work when copying/pasting text
between AddonChat and other applications.

When opening a link within AddonChat, use CTRL-click to clicking the link.

If you experiencing problems with AddonChat, empty your browser's cache.
If this does not resolve the problem, reboot.
